Social Justice Chair

Greetings, friends. I'm Matthew, Princeton's foremost proponent of the "Ralph Lauren polo with khaki Dockers" look, and a junior studying Philosophy, Global Health & Health Policy, and Judaic Studies (eager to hear suggestions for a senior thesis). I know where to find just about every book in the CJL library is (I'm trying to convince people I'm the official librarian), and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the oatmeal raisin cookies are the best; rest assured, I've been in the CJL a few too many hours. I'm a fan of Irish fiddling (and I'm a fan of telling people that, too), and my dream of reviving the Princeton Mime Company is still alive. Tentatively, I hope this year's social justice committee will focus on issues centering around food (labor rights, animal welfare, AMR, sustainability, food inequality, etc.), but we'll see where things go. Honestly, I'm more just than I'm social, but I certainly like both and look forward to working with you!
