No two Princeton Jewish students are alike. Jewish students are involved in all aspects of life at Princeton and our goal is to connect with every Jewish student on campus. This means that, in addition to running programs, we also want to develop personal relationships with Jewish students of all backgrounds and a diversity of interests and viewpoints. Our Campus Engagement Interns (CEIs) play a critical role in helping Jewish students on campus feel connected.
A group of dynamic students, trained by the CJL staff, reach out specifically to freshmen inviting them to meals at the CJL and for one-on-one coffee and frozen yogurt dates to get to know them better. These personal interactions help new students feel welcome in the Princeton Jewish community and let them know that someone is there for them.
Community Engagement Interns reach out to Jewish friends in their social networks and connect them to Jewish life at CJL in ways that are meaningful and relevant to them.
