REST – REFLECT- RECHARGE
We invite you and your family to participate in CJL’s Shabbat Wellness Initiative wherever you are. This initiative was designed during the pandemic and is designed to help you rest, reflect and recharge. This 7-week program includes readings and activities addressing the following topics: Social Wellness; Spiritual Wellness; Occupational Wellness; Environmental Wellness; Physical Wellness; Emotional Wellness; and Intellectual Wellness. The readings are from Jewish sources as a text-based study as well as scientific or cultural sources.

The objectives of this program are:
- To feel encouraged and supported to take time on Shabbat to rest, reflect and recharge, and to explore the connections between Jewish tradition and practice and the different dimensions of wellness.
- To recognize the value and interconnectedness of all dimensions of wellness, and feel supported in fostering lifelong wellness practices.
- To gain knowledge of existing campus resources to support physical, emotional and social well-being.
- To feel a sense of community on Shabbat.
