The Center for Jewish Life embraces all Jewish students, amplifying connections to Jewish meaning, experience, and community. We aspire to provide insights and pathways to help Princeton Jewish students live their lives as a sacred gift. We hope to help every student find their own voice within the larger narrative of the Jewish people — on their own terms — at their own level -but in ways that are deeply connected to the wisdom of our ancient tradition and linked to the opportunities and challenges of today’s complex world.
Our mission is to cultivate friendship and Jewish community, inspire and nurture personal paths to Jewish identity, empower and mentor Jewish students, explore Life’s Big Questions, and promote well-being and happiness. Our values are to be welcoming and inclusive, nurturing and inspiring, vibrant and celebratory, innovative and student driven. With the launch of our new Strategic Plan, we are working towards a vision where every Jewish student at Princeton takes advantage of Jewish opportunities that are personally and intellectually engaging in the spirit of the overall Princeton experience.
